How do I insert my LITT product?

You should have a stringer insert your LITT product when you get your racket restrung. Or, you can remove the trap door at the base of your racket grip (the racket butt cap) and snap the LITT device into that spot. IMPORTANT: Make sure you have a LITT adaptor that is specific to your racket brand. Example: Head LITT but caps do not fit Wilson butt caps, so make sure that you buy the version of the butt cap that fits your racket.

If your LITT product pops out for any reason while playing you can simply pop the cap back in the butt of the racket as you would with a typical racket butt cap. If you have any difficulties, a stringer can help you with this.

2

Will my LITT device work for different rackets?

You need to have the correct adaptor for each type of racket. Each LITT adaptor is unique to each racket brand. So make sure you buy the current LITT adaptor that coincides with your racket brand.

3

How does LITT know that my strings are wearing out?

LITT is a highly advanced vibration detector / monitor which has exclusive firmware that is able to measure the impact of vibration when the ball makes contact with your strings. It measures the amount of vibration that is going from the racket handle to a person’s wrist, arm, elbow and shoulder. As your strings age, vibration increases and becomes more powerful on your wrist and arm. LITT measures this increase in vibration.

4

How do I reset LITT after I have my racket restrung?

When you take your racket to the stringer to get your strings replaced ask your stringer to reset LITT. If the stringer is not familiar with LITT follow these steps to reset the device:

  1. Hold the LITT logo button down for 3 seconds

  2. Take your finger off

  3. Hold the LITT logo button down again for 3 seconds

  4. Wait for the logo to light up red and then transition to orange, and then to green. This indicates that the LITT device is reset and ready to go.

5

Where do I purchase LITT products?

You can purchase LITT products at tennis retailers and tennis clubs across the US. To find a store that carries LITT near you please view and search our Store Locator Map on our website under the Get LITT section.

6

Should I put LITT in my racket only when I get new strings?

Yes. LITT products take vibration readings to calibrate the health of your strings. When you play tennis for the first time after implementing LITT in your racket LITT creates a baseline for vibration based on hitting that day, so if you put a LITT product in a racket with dead or used strings it will not be able to calibrate and will be working off of an incorrect baseline.

7

Does LITT need to be charged?

No -LITT products do not need to be charged. Your stringer will take care of sending old LITT products back to us so that we can repurpose it.

17

My strings broke and the light wasn't red- why?

The string may still be resilient and "alive" when the power of a stroke or other factor causes the string to suddenly break. LITT measures string health and vibration, but strings break for other reasons, such as a miss-hit, a powerful stroke, scraping the top of racket with a bad bumper guard, having the string pinch against a grommet, or having a 'sharp' grommet.
